Getting connected on your Mac
Keep me on the phone — we'll do each step together.
-
Start Remote Help
Tap the green button. The download starts within a few seconds.
Start Remote Help -
Open the download
In Safari, click the downloads button near the top-right and double-click the file. You can also open Finder → Downloads and double-click it there.
-
If your Mac won't open it
If it says the app “can't be verified” or “wasn't opened”, click Done. Then open the Apple menu → System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway.
On older Macs: hold Control, click the file, choose Open, then Open again.
-
Allow screen sharing
Your Mac may ask for permission before I can see the screen. Click Allow — and if it doesn't take, I'll walk you through it on the phone. You're in control the whole time.
-
Read me the code
The Nick Support window shows a nine-digit number. Read it to me on the phone and I'll connect.
Stuck anywhere?
Text me and I'll call you right back — that's what I'm here for.
