Getting connected on Windows

Keep me on the phone — we'll do each step together.

  1. Start Remote Help

Tap the green button. The download starts within a few seconds.

    Start Remote Help
  2. Open the downloaded file

Look at the top-right corner of your browser for a downloads arrow and click the file that appears — its name starts with “SOS”.

Can't see it? Press Ctrl + J to open your downloads list, or open File Explorer → Downloads and double-click the newest file.

  3. If Windows shows a blue warning

A blue box saying “Windows protected your PC” is normal for a program your computer hasn't seen before. Click More info, then Run anyway. This one is my support tool — it's safe.

  4. Click Yes to allow it

If Windows asks “Do you want to allow this app to make changes?”, click Yes.

  5. Read me the code

The Nick Support window opens with a nine-digit number. Read it to me on the phone and I'll connect.

Stuck anywhere?

Text me and I'll call you right back — that's what I'm here for.
